Stovetop Cooking Instructions
Combine rice, liquid, and butter or oil in a pot, and bring to a boil.
Cover with a tight-fitting lid. Reduce heat to maintain a low simmer, and cook for 40 minutes.
Remove from heat (keep covered) and steam for 10 minutes. Fluff with fork and serve.
Rice Cooker Instructions
To prepare in a rice cooker, use the same liquid to rice ratio.If rice is too firm at the end of cooking, it may be necessary to add 1-2 Tbsp. liquid and cook longer.

Rice is great.T
This is the cleanest and tastiest basmati rice I've found over the last twenty years.
This is not basmati rice
I am dismayed by the misrepresented quality of this rice. First of all , it smells like it. That's where it ends. Basmati rice is thin and only expands longitudinally where this stuff behaves like regular long grain brown rice. It tastes like regular brown rice, too. It's also not as dry and light, the way proper basmati rice is. And it always tastes stale, unlike the basmati rice I enjoy. If I wanted regular long grain brown rice, I'll buy it. But this is a misleading product title that I've tried off and on, hoping it's a fluke. Well, it's not. I'm consistently disappointed by this poor rendition of the basmati rice experience I look forward to,in my culinary and gastronomic experience. I'll never buy it again.

I’m a vegetarian and I eat this brown basmati rice nearly every day. I use it for fried rice with Indian seasonings and Mexican rice bowls with salsa. If you are on the fence about liking brown rice, try this rice. You’ll change your mind.
