About Us

Since 1937, our family has been growing wholesome, great-tasting rice while tending to soil, air, water, and wildlife as carefully as our crops. Some people say we’re a bit unconventional. But doing things our way—sustainably at every step—allows us to make better food for your table while leaving a better world for the next generation. That’s why we use organic farming practices, say no to GMOs, build soil health, provide habitat for hundreds of species, and offset our manufacturing facilities with 100% renewable energy. So when you choose Lundberg, you can feel confident that you’re bettering the world with every bite!

Stovetop Cooking Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan bring 2 1/4 cup of water to a boil. Stir in 8 oz of wild rice.

  2. Cover with a tight-fitting lid. Reduce heat to maintain a fast simmer, and cook for 45-50 minutes.

  3. Remove from heat (keep covered) and steam for 10 minutes. Fluff with fork and serve.

Rice Cooker Instructions

To prepare in a rice cooker, use the same liquid to rice ratio. If the rice is too firm at the end of cooking, it may be necessary to add 1-2 Tbsp. liquid and cook longer.

Various rice from Lundberg

I recently ordered several kinds of rice from Lundberg. They were shipped quickly and packed nicely. I've used Lundberg before and I find it a very high quality product. Well done!

Rice shipped straight from the farm

I love Lundbergs rice but difficult to find available in local store. So now I can easily ship from the farm, learn about new products, great selection and fast service from door to door in less than 1 week.

Excellent quality wild rice!

I love this rice! It's so tasty and healthy. My family's favorite way to eat this is in a wild rice, pecan, lentil, and butternut squash salad (balsamic/maple dressing) or in stuffed peppers. It has a delightful nutty taste, and is high in fiber and nutrients. Such a versatile staple in our home! I cook for 30 minutes (instead of 40-45 minutes). I leave the lid on and it finishes cooking. Turns out perfectly.
