Stovetop Cooking Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine 1 1/2 cup water, rice, seasoning packet, and 1 Tbsp. olive oil (optional). Stir well and bring to a boil.

  2. Cover and reduce heat to low. Do not lift lid while cooking. Simmer for 20 minutes.

  3. Remove from heat. Fluff with fork and serve. 

  4. Soak up the compliments.

Serving Suggestions

Top with grilled shrimp, a squeeze of fresh lime over rice, and freshly chopped cilantro.

For a vegan option, mix in black beans and pico de gallo. 

For coconut lime rice, substitute half of the water with coconut milk, garnish with freshly chopped cilantro, and add a squeeze of lime.

Delicious!

This rice is delicious! It doesn't taste like the famous rice of the famous fast casual chain, but it�s still quite good. We have it on taco night. This is the only place I can find it after a local boutique grocery stopped carrying it. I do add an extra bit of lime juice after cooking to give it more kick.
